Sparks Group has partnered with a top Insurance company seeking driven and customer-focused Inside Sales Representatives for a Direct Hire opportunity to join a growing direct-to-consumer sales team within the life insurance space. In this role, you’ll connect with prospective customers, understand their needs, and guide them toward the right term life insurance solutions—all within a fast-paced, high-performing sales environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on hitting goals, enjoys consultative selling, and values delivering an outstanding customer experience. Position requires 3 days in office and 2 days remote. If you hold insurance certifications for other verticals you will be required to give those up. Company paid training to obtain your certification is included. Interested candidates should apply for immediate consideration. 

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective customers through a mix of inbound inquiries and outbound follow-ups generated by internal marketing efforts
  • Conduct needs-based consultations to recommend appropriate term life insurance coverage
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
  • Build and maintain a pipeline by developing referrals and nurturing leads
  • Clearly explain product features, benefits, and coverage options to help customers make informed decisions
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell or enhance coverage based on customer needs
  • Accurately complete applications, collect required documentation, and guide clients through the underwriting process
  • Maintain detailed and organized records using CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and product knowledge
  • Ensure all interactions meet compliance and regulatory standards within a licensed sales environment
  • Participate in regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews

Education & Licensing

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Life & Health Insurance license (Maryland preferred or willingness to obtain)
Experience

  • 3+ years of sales experience in a call center or high-volume sales environment
  • Background in insurance, financial services, or direct-to-consumer sales strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding sales quotas
