Sparks Group has partnered with a leading nationwide enterprise sustainable solutions integrator seeking a Project manager. If you have 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience leading commercial and multifamily low-voltage deployments from planning through completion this opportunity may be for you. This position is fully on site five days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full lifecycle of commercial and multifamily deployments.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and milestone tracking.
- Coordinate with general contractors, developers, and site superintendents.
- Ensure alignment with construction schedules and site readiness.
- Manage scope, budget tracking, and change orders.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
- Attend construction meetings as required.
- Coordinate internal technicians and subcontractors.
- Align low-voltage deployments with other trades (electrical, framing, IT, etc.).
- Review site drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Validate pre-wire, trim-out, and final installation phases.
- Ensure compliance with local codes and site requirements.
- Serve as primary point of contact for customers, GCs, and developers.
- Provide regular project updates and milestone reporting.
- Manage expectations regarding timelines, site dependencies, and deliverables.
- Facilitate turnover documentation and closeout.
- Coordinate equipment procurement and delivery schedules.
- Manage subcontractor performance and accountability.
- Ensure proper installation standards and quality control.
- Support inspections and final acceptance walkthroughs.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
- Track budgets, invoices, and change orders.
- Support development of standardized project workflows.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Track KPIs related to schedule adherence and cost control.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- 5+ years of construction project management experience.
- Experience coordinating multiple trades on active job sites.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Ability to travel to job sites as required.
- Experience in low-voltage, security, or access control systems.
- Experience managing commercial or multifamily property deployments.
- Knowledge of building codes related to low-voltage systems.
- PMP certification or formal project management training.
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check, fingerprinting, drug screen, and possesses a valid driver’s license.
