Sparks Group is seeking a Business Development Partner to drive new business across enterprise and mid-market accounts by selling strategic advisory services. Offerings include responsible AI governance/security, cybersecurity risk advisory, vCISO programs, security assessments, GRC, penetration testing, and strategic program development. Essential Duties

  • Consistently meet or exceed an annual revenue goal of $5M–$10M, maintaining a healthy pipeline valued at 3x–5x annual quota.
  • Establish trusted relationships with C-suite executives (CEOs, CFOs, CAIOs, CIOs, etc.) to position the firm as a strategic partner.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to uncover client needs, aligning tailored solutions with key business outcomes.
  • Lead prospecting and lead development, collaborating with the Client Delivery Team to scope solutions, develop Statements of Work (SOWs), and deliver executive presentations.
  • Partner with delivery and marketing teams to execute go-to-market strategies, ensure smooth project handoffs, and maintain detailed CRM records.
  • Stay current on cybersecurity, AI, and data compliance trends to drive meaningful client dialogue and represent the firm at industry events.
  • Additional tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in B2B sales, including 5+ years selling risk mitigation, AI governance, or cybersecurity advisory services.
  • Proven success closing multi-six and seven-figure advisory deals to achieve $5M–$10M annual targets.
  • Strong understanding of AI/cybersecurity programs and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS, SOC 2, OWASP).
  • Elite communication, negotiation, and pipeline management discipline using consultative sales methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and use standard office/computer equipment for extended periods.
  • Capability to travel, attend networking events, and present in public or private locations.
  • Regular, effective verbal communication in person, via phone, and during virtual meetings.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 20 pounds.
